This is a new design series starting in 2008 will focus on the 'Elements' of design "Line" and "Texture".Moving beyond the basic design concepts each element will be explored in much greater detail, allowing designers to add new dimensions to any design style they are working with regardless if it is classical or contemporary in form. Individuals who have not had professional floral design training or worked in a flower shop as a floral designer must complete Basic Floral Design 1 before taking other programs. Once an individual has completed Basic Floral Design 1 then he or she may attend any program offered by the Vermont Academy of Floral Designs. |
