This program is designed for the individual who designs flowers for their church or who wants to learn this special floral art. Although the format is designed for the Christian church it is Ecumenical and concepts can be modified for any denomination.

The Sanctuary of Blooms program is designed so students can take 1 day, 3 day or 5 day workshop.

Still Life Displays - One Day Workshop $125.00

Combining flowers and decorative accessories students will create unique floral displays for the Chancel or altar-table in this workshop.

Still Life Workshop dates: Monday August 25, 2008

 

Sanctuary of Blooms - 3 Day Workshop $350.00

This three day workshop will include the Still Life program and will also explore various sanctuary displays. Topics to be covered will include symbolic and theme displays. This workshop will also include building props and creative ways of using accessories.

Sanctuary of Blooms workshop dates: Monday to Wednesday August 25-27, 2008

 

Sanctuary of Blooms - 5 Day Workshop $550.00

This five day workshop will include the Still Life program and will also explore various sanctuary displays. Topics to be covered will include symbolic displays, Lenten Garden displays, theme displays, liturgical or scripture interpretative displays and more. This workshop will also include building props and creative ways of using accessories.

Sanctuary of Blooms workshop dates: Monday to Friday August 25-29, 2008

Class hours: 9am to 5pm 

Tools Needed : Each student will be required to bring their own working tools; Design knife or shears, wire cutters, pruners for woody materials, hand towel and your camera.

Lunch: Coffee & tea will be provided. Each Student should bring a bag lunch. A refrigerator and microwave are available for student use.
