The focus of our 2007 Lent and Easter display is the cross. The journey begins with  coming to the cross but seeing beyond while keeping that our central focus on the cross. With this theme in mind a 3-dimensional 7 foot cross was constructed of copper pipe and airbrushed gold. Each floral display during Lent will take place within the cross.

 1st Sunday of Lent - The Journey.

The journey begins with aspidistra foliage at the base of the cross, continuing upward it weaves in and around the cross. At a point on our journey we come to a fork in the path and have to make a decision which path we will follow. Three strands of lily grass represents the Trinity accompanying us on our journey.
